Recently, Hebei Zhongyuan Engineering Project Management Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the construction supervision of the conservation project for the Daxingge Pavilion and its East and West Side Pavilions at Longxing Temple.
Also known as the Great Buddha Temple, Longxing Temple was originally the Dragon Soaring Garden of Murong Xi of the Later Yan Dynasty during the Eastern Jin and Sixteen Kingdoms period. In 586 AD (the sixth year of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty), a temple was built within the garden, which was then called Longzang Temple. It was renamed Longxing Temple during the Tang Dynasty and Longxing Temple again during the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the earliest and largest well-preserved Buddhist temples in China and one of the first key cultural relics protection sites and top ten famous temples in the country.
The conservation project will comprehensively overhaul the Daxingge Pavilion and its East and West Side Pavilions at Longxing Temple, which have shown significant damage and signs of danger in some areas. As the project supervision unit, our company's supervision team will carry out supervision work in accordance with national laws and regulations, design documents, construction drawings, and technical requirements approved by the competent department. At the same time, we will fully leverage our professional advantages to provide reasonable suggestions for the key and difficult points of the project and closely collaborate with all participating construction units to ensure the smooth implementation of the restoration work and contribute to the preservation and transmission of this valuable cultural heritage.
